Manufacturing Process
Every piece of furniture goes through a carefully controlled manufacturing process. From selecting the right wood to the final packaging, each stage is handled with attention to detail to ensure consistent quality, durability, and a beautiful finish.
01 — Wood Selection
We carefully select high-quality wood based on the type of furniture, design, dimensions, and intended use.
The wood we use comes from legal and traceable sources that meet international export requirements, supported by the required documentation and SVLK (Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas dan Kelestarian) Timber Legality and Sustainability Verification System, certification in accordance with applicable Indonesian regulations.
Each piece of wood is carefully inspected for its condition, grain, strength, and suitability before entering the production process. This ensures that the materials we use meet both our quality standards and the legal and traceability requirements of international markets.
02 — Kiln Drying
The selected wood is initially cut into manageable sizes before undergoing the kiln drying process. Kiln drying is carried out to reduce the moisture content of the wood to an appropriate level, making it more stable and suitable for furniture production.
This process helps minimize excessive movement, warping, cracking, and other potential issues that may occur when wood with high moisture content is used in furniture production.
03 — Precision Cutting
Once the wood reaches the appropriate moisture level, it is cut and processed into smaller components according to the required dimensions and approved design.
Each component is carefully measured and prepared to ensure accurate dimensions and proper fitting during the joinery and construction process.
This stage ensures that every component is ready for precise and structurally sound furniture construction.
04 — Joinery & Construction
The prepared components are then processed to create the required joinery and structural connections according to the approved design.
Our craftsmen carefully create each joint to achieve proper alignment, strength, stability, and durability. Different joinery techniques may be applied depending on the furniture design, structure, and intended use.
Every connection is carefully checked to ensure the overall construction is strong, precise, and properly fitted before moving to the finishing preparation stage.
05 — Sanding
After the joinery and construction process is completed, each furniture piece goes through several stages of sanding.
The surfaces, edges, and joints are carefully smoothed to remove rough areas, uneven surfaces, and imperfections resulting from the construction process.
Sanding also prepares the wood surface to properly receive the finishing materials while enhancing the natural beauty and texture of the wood.
06 — Finishing
The furniture is then finished according to the customer’s specifications, product requirements, and destination market.
We use finishing materials and chemical products that comply with the applicable standards and requirements of the countries where our products are shipped, helping ensure that our furniture is suitable for international markets.
The finishing process is carefully controlled to achieve the desired color, texture, appearance, and level of protection while maintaining the natural character and quality of the wood.
Different finishing specifications can be accommodated depending on the customer’s requirements, product design, and destination country.
07 — Quality Check & Packing
Before leaving our workshop, every piece of furniture undergoes a final quality inspection. We check the construction, dimensions, finishing, appearance, and overall condition to ensure that the finished product meets the agreed specifications and our quality standards.
Once it passes the final inspection, the furniture is carefully packed using appropriate protective materials based on the product type and shipping requirements. For international shipments, additional protection can be applied when necessary to help keep the furniture safe during handling, container loading, and transportation.
